A new adventure was in the making as I was sent to Legaspi City, Phillipines to resolve issues associated with the importation of hand woven baskets for Anchor Hocking Corporation's "Basket Buffet Program".
I was fortunate to meet many wonderful people and associate with Charlie Stewart an importer for Burt Todd of Legionier, PA. Charlie eventually became Burt's son in law. We had a number of character building experiences in pulling the program together so that it survives to this day. The details of the business decisions are somwhat mundane compared to the social and everyday human expeiences that are best portrayed in the pictures and captions that follow:
