TWO BLACK AND
WHITES
They are both getting
adjusted and starting to relax; the black and white loveables named Nicky and
Max.
Nick’s a Boarder Collie and
Max is a Cocker, when they dart and dash, it’s like boys playing soccer. I wish you could see the two of them now,
Nicks long nose and max’s furling brow.
They are a sight to behold and leave no stone unturned as they sniff
through the house with no concern, about how cute they look and the tenderness
they exude when they snuggle up close with the warmth they’re imbued.
Two different personalities
here, one all playfulness, the other no fear.
Nicks the businessman of the canine crowd and Max is known to yelp
really loud, when a doorbell rings on the TV set. Nick thinks it’s strange
because there is nothing to fret. Now
the cat (Emily) that’s another story.
She ignores them both in their simpleness. She acts like she’s queen and they are something less.
But then this note is about
the dogs, they are wonderful pets and by taking Max in, we have no
regrets. He is just another bundle of
fluff to add to the mix. I bet if he
were trained, he could do some tricks.
Nick on the other hand thinks tricks are un-cool, he’s into work and
chores and being a farmers tool.
It’s really neat this time
in life when pets bring joy and a little bit of glee to replace the quietness,
to some degree, of no children at home, you know, “empty nest”. But back to the dogs Nick and Max, Lord
their’ a riot, pure “cracker Jacks”.
I’ve been told not to mention the night time vision, after lights are
out and the mutual decision is to let the fur people pick their spots to settle
down, guess where they choose? You’ve
got it! It’s a King size. Thank You GOD.
